Who is Mapped Studio

Mapped is a South Australian based creative studio specialising in light-focused art that evokes curiosity and awe. Their work is routinely featured across Australia as part of music festivals, arts precincts, brand activations, live performance venues, touring shows, galleries, museums, in nightclubs and on film & television sets. They explore a diverse array of creative disciplines in their relentless pursuit of engaging and delighting audiences with meaningful experiences.

Results

Working closely with international suppliers to create a custom product to our specifications, Mapped's bread and butter is LED pixel mapping on a custom LED bar system. Modular components, rigging techniques, and programming allow for a broad range of creative applications to suit any client or project need.

Mapped has adopted Advatek Pixlite controllers and associated software as the preferred method of effective and reliable control for their installation work.

Advatek Lighting's Role

Mapped relies on Advatek’s Mk3 controllers as a robust solution for their constantly evolving projects from touring light shows to bespoke festival stages. The reliability and versatility of the Mk3 controllers allows Mapped to be confident that the show will go on with out a hitch.

We started using Advatek from day one, I remember getting one of the first run of Pixlite 4s and building a custom enclosure that served me well for years. Now we are using Advatek across all our projects because it just works, and is simple to deploy in the field.
